Wasps win best Kids and Family Experience Award Wasps were awarded the 'Kids and Family Experience Award with Take Flight Aviation', at last night's awards ceremony at the Ricoh Arena. Wasps won the award for their first class match day experience and their fan village at Ricoh Arena home games. The award was received at last night's Coventry and Warwickshire Tourism and Culture Awards. Other nominees in the category included Warwick Castle and Rugby Art Gallery and Museum.  The criteria for the category was a business with a ‘Family First’ motto that catered especially for the needs of children – without neglecting adults. Wasps put in fine defensive performance to beat Saints

For the first time since 1996/97, Wasps made it four wins from their first four games, to go top of the Premiership table, with Leicester v Bath still to play in Round 4, on Sunday. The victory was based on an outstanding defensive effort, in which they withstood enormous pressure. They rode their luck, as the home side squandered at least three opportunities.
