What does the new Coventry Arena train station mean for Wasps’ supporters?
Long-term: The new station will improve access to the Ricoh Arena stadium on match day and reduce fans’ journey time to games. However, it is important to note that the initial stage of the project will see a limited service in operation.
The travel time from London Euston to Coventry, connecting to Coventry Arena station, should take no longer than 1 hour 10 minutes in total.
While we are doing everything in our power to try to increase the regularity of the service and the number of passengers able to access the arena by train on match day, there is no quick fix due to a shortage of rolling
The Coventry Arena train station has been in the planning for many years prior to Wasps acquiring the Ricoh Arena. We understand that many of our supporters will feel frustration at the limited service initially in operation, however it is important to remember that this is a situation we have inherited.
We will continue to work with London Midland to investigate the possibility of running special event services to add to the current timetable and support all the exciting matches we have coming up.

Please Note – The last train leaving Coventry Railway Station to London Euston is 23:21. The last train leaving Coventry Railway Station to Birmingham New Street is 23:58.

The railway station for the Ricoh Arena is the main Coventry railway station, which is in the City Centre and approximately six miles away. There are always black cabs immediately outside the station and it is roughly a 10 to 15 minute journey.
For our local taxi service please visit Allens Taxis. A taxi rank is located directly outside the entrance of Coventry train station, for those choosing this route. Taxi fares cost between £13 and £15 per journey to the Ricoh Arena from the train station.
Christ the King, park-and-walk site is located on Winding House Lane, which is accessible by leaving the M6 at J3 towards Coventry and going along the A444 for half a mile.
House Lane, continue for half a mile and the car park is on the right. Our team will be on hand to direct you to a parking space.

Follow the B4113 towards Bedworth. Take the third exit at the roundabout and Wayside Business Park is on your left.
